Neil van Neikerk Reviews the AC3 ZoneController

Educator and photographer Neil van Neikerk recently posted a review of his initial experiments with the PocketWizard AC3 ZoneController.

Providing settings for his speedlights, he also fully details different positioning and the results which follow. This isn’t an overwhelmingly long review, but it will definitely help you understand the magic you can make happen with an AC3 on your rig. The writing is crisp and the photographic examples are illuminating, if you’ll pardon the pun.

Ending his review, Neil writes, “It’s obvious by now that I really love the PocketWizard FlexTT5 and AC3 Zone Controller units. It’s a flexible and fast way of using multiple speedlights.”

Keep  your eyes peeled for a new video on the PocketWizard site featuring Neil and documenting this shoot.

Thanks, Neil! Check out Neil’s blog and site for more info on his work.
