  1. Hi I want to buy pocket wizards but do not know what type to buy ??? I have alien bees einstein 640. I have speedlites 600 EX RT”s. I want to use together trigger together Also will like to use my speedlite in top of my hot show camera and trigger my alien bee but not sure what time buy they tell me mc 2. Or pocket wizards 3. Then tt1. So confuse. I read blogs and still cannot understand

It appears you have Einstein flashes made by Paul C Buff. AlienBees are another model made by the same company.
My first recommendation would be the new system MiniTT1 and FlexTT5 and an MC2 for the Einstein flash. That would allow you to use your 600RT and your Einstein flash together as you describe. It would also allow you to control the power of your Einstein from the top of your camera using the 600RT as a controller. You could use a PocketWizard AC3 ZoneController as a controller for both your 600RT on a remote FlexTT5 and the MC2. Here is a good place to start learning about this: http://www.pocketwizard.com/inspirations/tutorials/mc2/ Also, look at other tutorials for more information.

  3. I just watched the webinar with Cliff Mautner and have a question. A PocketWizard cable was mentioned during the session for powering the TT5 from a Nikon body via the 10-pin port. The part number was listed as “PW-DC10″ in the chat window but I cannot find that part anywhere on the PW site. Can you assist finding this?

    • Ron Egatz says:

      Hi, Dave.

Thanks for writing. That cable is brand new and should be available in stores around June 15. Don’t waste your time looking for it now because salespeople won’t have information on it until after the first week of June. Full details and features will be posted on the PocketWizard site and blog, including an upcoming press release. Cliff is a beta tester for that cable and his input and positive feedback over it have been very helpful. We’re excited to bring this to market very soon.

      Thanks again!

You’re welcome. Great seminar and great info, too! Will that cable work with my Nikon D200?

  4. Hi, I started watching the webinar yesterday but then had a customer walk in so I missed a lot of it. You stated that you would post the video today, are you still planning on doing that and if so where would I find it. What I did get to watch was very helpful. Thank you,
