Glad to see you fixed the issue that kept the AC3 from working on the 5D3 in the beta firmware. So happy to have full functionality on my new camera. Thanks!

I appreciate the update on this wonderful system. Unfortunately for some of us that wok with the Alienbees, the HyperSync seems to be stuck at 1/320th sec. Is there a turnaround solution to this? I have looked everywhere for a possible turn around … but nothing! BTW, I don’t have any issues with the Canon flashes and they are working wonderfully …

    Thanks in advance …

    Regards,
    Ruben

HyperSync is a function of the capabilities of the camera in use as well as the specification of the flash. Unfortunately, the Canon 5D series, Mark I, II, and III, have the slowest traverse times in the Canon DSLR stable. Slow traverse = low top speeds. They are capable of perhaps up to 1/400 sec with tuning but no likely more than that. 1D series can achieve higher and the APS sensor cameras like the 7D well over 1/1000. We wish we had better news for you. Firmware can’t fix it.
